INTRO
I'm Sua (/soo-ah/). Born and raised in South Korea, I moved to New Zealand at 13, where I completed high school and earned a design degree from Auckland University of Technology. These experiences shaped my approach to problem-solving and user-centered design.
Why I Design
While teaching at an elementary school on Geoje Island, Korea, I saw the challenges of educational inequality—overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and children without access to essential learning tools. This experience reshaped my approach to making an impact. Instead of just teaching, I decided to create.

My First Self-Initiated Project
I began self-initiated projects, securing funding from the Korean government, and developed tools like a motion-based language learning program. This program has since been implemented in public libraries and schools, helping over 1,300 children.
